Modesto’s Fruit Yard adds September show to its season lineup. See who will play

Chris Janson is the latest country singer set to play the Fruit Yard Amphitheater in its current season.

Janson plays Sept. 20 at the Modesto venue with guest country group Parmalee. Tickets, $50-$115, go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, May 3.

Janson started as a songwriter, writing Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah” and Justin Moore’s “Off the Beaten Path,” according to AllMusic. He recorded “Buy Me a Boat,” which marked his breakthrough hit in 2015.

He’s known for songs such as “Fix a Drink,” “Drunk Girl,” “Good Vibes” and others.

He joins Jake Owen (May 19), Brothers Osborne (May 24), Brett Young (June 14), Midland (July 26) and Walker Hayes (Aug. 8) on the upcoming lineup.

Officially called The Fruit Yard Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Amphitheater, it’s located at 7948 Yosemite Blvd. Tickets will be available at at www.thefruityardevents.com and Ticketmaster.
