Mobile man arrested after leading police on chase, allegedly breaking into over 30 vehicles
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man was arrested after leading police on a chase, hitting a patrol car, and breaking into over 30 cars, according to the Mobile Police Department.

An MPD release said 24-year-old Vincent Parnell Sandifer was arrested Monday after leading police on a chase.

The release said officers were following up on leads involving multiple car burglaries in the West Mobile area when they spotted a vehicle believed to be connected to the burglaries and tried to stop it.
The driver, later identified as Sandifer, allegedly refused to stop and hit an MPD patrol vehicle along with three other vehicles. He eventually wrecked the car at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Highway 90.
Police said one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Sandifer was found to be responsible for over 30 car burglaries over the past couple of months, according to the release.

He was taken to Mobile Metro Jail and charged with unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
