Mobile man arrested in connection with parking lot shooting: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man has been arrested in connection with an October 2023 shooting in an Airport Boulevard parking lot, according to the Mobile Police Department.

27-year-old Christopher William Teague was arrested Wednesday with help from the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, according to an MPD news release.

Officers were called to USA Health Providence Hospital on Oct. 15, 2023, at 11 p.m. for a report of a man who arrived with a gunshot wound.

When they arrived, officers said, they found the man had been sitting in a car in an undisclosed parking lot off Airport Boulevard.

The release said the car driver had argued with an unknown man while in the parking lot. As the driver was leaving, the man, now identified as Teague, allegedly fired a shot into the vehicle, injuring the victim.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the MPD.

Teague was arrested on March 20 and taken to Mobile Metro Jail.

He is charged with first-degree assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
