Mobile man arrested after Bragdon Avenue shooting: Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a March 26 shooting that left one man with life-threatening injuries, according to the Mobile Police Department.

56-year-old Lorenzo Edward Blakely, of Mobile, was arrested on April 2 in connection to the shooting.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Bragdon Avenue around 9:30 a.m. on March 26 for a report of a shooting, according to the release. When officers arrived, they allegedly found a man with a gunshot wound.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

The release said the victim and subject, Blakely, got into an argument when the shooting happened.

Blakely was booked into Mobile Metro Jail on a first-degree assault charge.
