An MPD news release said officers were called to a local elementary and middle school Thursday for reports of child abuse.

When the officers arrived, they found that two boys had “severe bruising” and “described being physically abused” by a guardian, according to the release.

The boys also allegedly said the guardian had threatened them with a gun.

Officers did additional investigating at the middle school and found that two other children “revealed similar allegations” about the same guardian, and one had visible injuries, according to the release.
