Mobile man allegedly breaks into car on Lamar Street, gets arrested: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a car on Lamar Street, according to the Mobile Police Department.

An MPD news release said officers were called to the 1600 block of Lamar Street Saturday around 8 p.m. for a report of “unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle.”

When officers arrived, they reportedly found Bobby Joe Gordon, 55, of Mobile, near the scene.

He was arrested and taken to Mobile Metro Jail. Gordon was also charged with unlawful breaking and entering and possession of drug paraphernalia.
