MN company closing 2 offices in South Dakota

ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) — Verifications Inc., which does employment screening for other businesses, is closing two offices in South Dakota by the end of the year.

Verifications, based in Minneapolis, says the closings in Aberdeen, S.D. and Mitchell, S.D. are due to restructuring and will affect about 140 workers. The jobs will move to sites in Arizona, India and the Philippines.

The Verifications office in Watertown will remain open.
