HARRISON, N.J. - Thierry Henry had a goal and two assists to give the New York Red Bulls a 4-0 victory over the Montreal Impact on Saturday.

Eric Alexander, Tim Cahill and Peguy Luyindula also scored for the Red Bulls (9-7-4, 31 points), who climbed into a first-place tie with the Impact (9-5-4, 31 points) in the MLS' Eastern Conference.

Alexander scored in the 10th minute, with an assist going to Henry. Henry scored in the 16th minute, giving the Red Bulls a two-goal cushion.

Cahill made it 3-0 with his fifth goal of the season, a header off a corner kick from Henry in the second half.

Luyindula capped the scoring with a penalty kick in the 87th minute for his first MLS goal.

SPORTING KC 3, TORONTO FC 0

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Soony Saad scored twice, his first goals in almost two years, and Sporting Kansas City moved into first place in the Eastern Conference.

Claudio Bieler also scored for Sporting (9-5-6), which ran its unbeaten streak to five in front of a Sporting Park-record crowd of 21,126. Toronto (2-9-7), which played a man down after Reggie Lambe was given a straight red card in the 56th minute, is winless in its last four.

Saad put Sporting up 1-0 in the 21st minute, scoring from outside the area on an assist from Seth Sinovic, and made it 2-0 in the 51st with a putback of Graham Zusi's saved shot. They were his first goals in MLS since he scored on his league debut on Aug. 17, 2011.

Bieler scored in the 63rd, tapping in Benny Feilhaber's pass from point-blank range for his club-leading ninth goal of the season.

DYNAMO 2, REVOLUTION 1

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Midfielder Adam Moffatt scored two second-half goals.

Moffatt scored his first goal in the 49th minute, a 25-yard left-footed drive from atop the penalty box area after New England was unable to successfully clear a corner kick taken by the Dynamo's Andrew Driver.

Moffatt regained the lead for Houston (8-6-5) in the 79th minute, a right-footed shot atop the penalty box area, which banged off the right post and off New England goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth into the net.

Houston had won just one of its previous eight matches (1-4-3), scoring just three goals over that span, including a scoreless streak of 388 minutes over four matches.

New England (6-6-6) had its second loss in nine matches (4-2-3), a span in which it has scored 17 goals.

Real Salt Lake 3, FC Dallas 0

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Javier Morales scored a goal and set up Ned Grabavoy and Olmes Garcia.

At 11-5-4 Real Salt Lake, is unbeaten in its last eight games. Josh Saunders and Jeff Attinella made three saves each for RSL with Nick Rimando away on national team duty. Saunders had to leave in the 50th minute due to a knee injury.

Salt Lake was 0-11-2 record at Dallas and 0-8-1 in Houston.

Dallas (8-5-7) is winless in its last seven games, with just four points, and lost at home for the first time this season.

Grabavoy's fourth goal of the season made it 2-0 in the 79th minute and Garcia, who didn't enter the match until the 70th minute, tacked on his fifth of the year in the 90th to seal the victory.
