MLB online auction this week of experiences to benefit Stand Up To Cancer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Fans can win a round of golf with Arizona pitcher Ian Kennedy, a day of batting practice with the Cleveland Indians and a 30-minute guitar lesson from Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo as part of a charity auction this week benefiting Stand Up To Cancer.

Other prizes up for auction online through 11:59 p.m. EST Thursday include a visit from Washington pitchers Drew Storen and Tyler Clippard to the school of a child of the winning bidder, a tour of the Colorado clubhouse with Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, breakfast with San Francisco outfielder Hunter Pence, lunch with Philadelphia general manager Ruben Amaro Jr., new Boston manager John Farrell or Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda.

Pitching lessons are available from coaches Jim Hickey of Tampa Bay, Rick Honeycutt of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Charles Nagy of Arizona, Bryan Price of Cincinnati or Carl Willis of Seattle. Hitting instructions are available from Arizona's Don Baylor, Tampa Bay's Derek Shelton or the Los Angeles' Angels Jim Eppard.

There also a package of tickets for two to the Fan Fest, the Futures game, Home Run Derby and All-Star game at New York's Citi Field in July, which includes a meeting with former managers Joe Torre and Tony La Russa.
