TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese trading firm Mitsui & Co expects "certain progress" in its LNG project in Mozambique by the end of the current financial year to March 31, CFO Keigo Matsubara told a news conference on Wednesday, without elaborating. No decision has been made on the future of Hazelwood coal-fired power plant in Australia, he added. Its French partner, Engie, said last month it would soon decide what to do with the plant. The 1.5 GW plant - which produces 5.4 percent of Australia's power - is one of the world's most polluting power stations, environmental groups say.
