Missing toddlers found safe in Brandon

BRANDON, Fla. (WFLA) — Two missing children were found after an “exhaustive” search in Brandon on Saturday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Deputies responded to a residence in Brandon after the two children were reported missing on May 11.

During the search, deputies said a house near the children’s residence was discovered to have a back door slightly ajar.

After asking the owner if they could search the home, the two children were found inside unharmed.

“Our deputies will leave no stone unturned to protecting our children,” Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We were glad to reunite these three-year-olds with their family.”
