Missing at-risk man last seen in San Francisco found

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An at-risk man who was reported missing on Tuesday has been found, the San Francisco Police Department said in a news release. Peter Bausch, 77, was last seen leaving the San Francisco Library at 100 Larking St. around 1 p.m. on May 21.

Bausch is described as a white man who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds, according to SFPD. He was last seen wearing a green khaki bomber jacket, brown jeans and glasses.

Missing at-risk Oakland woman last seen in Mendocino County

SFPD officers responded at around 10:18 p.m. Tuesday to the 600 block of Connecticut Avenue regarding a well-being check on an elderly man. Upon contacting the man, officers learned it was Bausch.

He was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation and reunited with family. Bausch was considered to be at risk because he suffers from Alzheimer’s.
