Missing Kingsport woman found safe in Knoxville

Update: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says Pauline Sykes was found safe in Knoxville.


KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a missing woman from Kingsport.

Pauline Sykes, 86, was last seen Friday between Fort Henry Drive and Atoka Lane, according to the TBI.

Sykes has a medical condition that may impair her ability to return safely without assistance.

The TBI says Sykes may be traveling in a silver 2002 Buick Century car with Tennessee tag 30261PD.

Sykes was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt, mint-colored pants, and black tennis shoes. She is 5-foot 3-inches tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
