Missing Jacksonville man's remains identified
Apr. 24—The remains of missing Jacksonville man Ryan Hoskins, 38, have been identified.
Hoskins, who was reported missing Nov. 25, 2022, was last seen leaving a house on Fulton St. in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville Police Chief Joe Williams said an individual found bones off Burma St. which were sent to a forensic anthropologist at the University of North Texas for identification. The remains were positively identified as Hoskins Feb. 20.
Williams said family members were notified the same day.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
The Jacksonville Police Department, with help from other agencies, is continuing to investigate Hoskins' disappearance and death.
