Missing Endangered Alert: Man disappears from Kings Mountain

KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man is missing from Kings Mountain, prompting a Missing Endangered Alert to be issued by the N.C. Center for Missing Persons.

Officials say 32-year-old Gabriel Hamrick was last seen walking south on N. Carpenter Street near E. Ridge Street in Kings Mountain wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes and Spider-Man socks.

Hamrick is described as a white man standing 6 feet, 2 inches and weighing 180 pounds. He has short red hair and blue eyes.

He could be headed towards Charlotte or Asheville. Hamrick is believed to have a cognitive impairment.
