Missing elderly Charlotte man has been found: CMPD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says a man who went missing on Friday has been found and is with his family.

Police said John Barry Bennett, 74, was last seen in the 7400 block of Honey Flower Place in Charlotte, driving a blue/gray 2002 Hyundai Sonata four-door with NC tag: HBS-1093.

Search underway for missing Charlotte mother and her two young children

CMPD said Bennett could be suffering from cognitive issues and might appear confused. However, around 10 a.m. on Saturday, CMPD said he was back with his family.
