Missing Child Alert canceled for 15-year-old Limestone County girl

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — An emergency missing child alert for 15-year-old Emily Gott has been canceled.

Gott was reported missing after she was seen leaving her Athens home on foot, wearing black shorts, a black jacket and white crocs. But as of 12:37 p.m. Monday, the missing alert for her was canceled.

Authorities said Gott is a white female who may be living with a condition that impairs her judgment. She is described in the alert as 5’5″ tall, 150 pounds with blonde or strawberry blonde hair and green eyes.

At the time when she was reported missing, officials said she might have been traveling in a 2013 Silver Hyundai Elantra, Alabama tag, 44A3E66, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s emergency missing child alert.
