Missing 14-year-old girl last seen in San Francisco found

(KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Genesis Barrera-Hernandez, a missing 14-year-old girl last seen in the area of Turk and Hyde Streets in San Francisco.

Barrera-Hernandez is described as 5 foot 4 inches and 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She is known to frequent the entire Tenderloin District and MUNI. Police said Hernandez was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt, brown leggings, and black Crocs.

As of 2:37 p.m. San Francisco police announced that Genesis has since been located and will be reunited with her family. “Thank you to those who assisted in spreading our alert,” SFPD said.
