“MIRASOL” documentary premieres May 21 in Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) – A new documentary, produced by Palmer Land Conservancy and directed by Ben Knight, debuts this month in Colorado Springs and sheds light on the farming industry’s uncertain future due to the West’s diminishing water supply.

“MIRASOL, Looking at the Sun” follows a multi-generational Italian and Hispanic immigrant farming community living in Pueblo.

Rebecca Jewett, President and CEO of Palmer Land Conservancy, joined FOX21 Morning News on Tuesday, May 7, to talk about the film, its important story, and how people can attend the premier in Colorado Springs on May 21.
