Minot, ND hosting 3-day Bakken Investor Conference; up to 400 people expected
MINOT, N.D. (AP) -- A three-day oil conference is getting under way in Minot, N.D.
The third annual Bakken Investor Conference is Wednesday through Friday. It's expected to draw as many as 400 people from around the country.
Organizers say the goal of the conference is to connect potential investors with opportunities in the western oil patch. It's targeted at investors who have a net worth of $1 million not including their home, or who earn $200,000 annually.
