Mini elephants will fall from the sky in Brooklyn’s Dumbo Drop

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Thousands of tiny elephants will fly at the sixth annual Dumbo Drop in Brooklyn next month.

The annual tradition helps support two public schools in Dumbo. This year’s event will occur on May 31 with two drops at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Attendees can expect a souvenir elephant or parachute to take home and an entry into the prize drawing with a ticket.

Some of the prizes include:

  • A six-month family membership to Life Time Dumbo

  • A two-night stay at 1Hotel Brooklyn Bridge + Dinner at the Osprey

  • A $500 Dumbo Shopping Spree – winner’s choice!

  • A 10-pack of classes to Ritual Moves
