Mindy Kaling brought to tears on 'Today' by B.J. Novak’s tweet

Mindy Kaling teared up on Today as anchor Hoda Kotb read a tweet Kaling’s good friend and former The Office co-star B.J. Novak wrote celebrating the opening of A Wrinkle in Time.

Here’s his tweet.

She reacted: ”That actually makes me want to tear up. … When I was coming up, there was no one on TV or film that looked like me and that was such a nice thing that he remembered that.”

Tears began streaming down Kaling’s face as she said, “I’m legit crying. Hoda, this happened so quickly. … I was so moved by that. … If you dream big you can get whatever you want.”
