Milwaukee police chase; FBI, US Marshals at downtown scene

MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee police chase ended with multiple arrests downtown on Tuesday afternoon, May 21.

FOX6 saw members of the Milwaukee Police Department, U.S. Marshals Service and Federal Bureau of Investigation at the scene near Milwaukee and Mason.

Police blocked off roads around downtown, including near landmarks like City Hall. FOX6 saw officers with stop sticks and long guns.

FOX6 saw a Jeep involved in a pursuit near the stadium interchange around 3 p.m. That same Jeep is believed to have been towed from behind a parking garage at the downtown scene – roughly 3.8 miles from where it was previously spotted. It's unclear where the pursuit began.

Witnesses told FOX6 that authorities took multiple people into custody. MPD has been mum as to who was arrested and for what reasons.
