Millikin opens new Health Sciences Center
DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Millikin University cut the ribbon on their new Health Sciences Center this week.
The $3.2 million building will be the central location of the School of Nursing, within in the building is the Campbell Family Nursing Simulation Center.
“Many of you see a facility that will educate and train nurses today, but I see a vision of hope and a commitment to lifting others through education, wellness, and high-quality healthcare,” Millikin President Jim Reynolds said.
Millikin University breaks ground on new athletic center
The rooms mimic a doctor’s office, obstetrics and pediatrics and hospital room settings. Students will be working on high-tech mannequins which instructors can control.
