Millie Bobby Brown to Instagram haters: If 'you don't like it... scroll past it'

After posting an Instagram photo Saturday, "Stranger Things" actress Millie Bobby Brown shut down haters who told her it was inappropriate for her age.

"Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown isn't letting social media trolls get her down.

After posting a photo Saturday wearing a snakeskin dress and heels, Brown, 14, received backlash from people who thought the outfit was inappropriate for someone her age.

Brown's fans were quick to come to her defense, reassuring the actress she looked "gorgeous" and shouldn't let "the haters get you." Even her ex-boyfriend, 16-year-old musician Jacob Sartorius, commented "stunning." But Brown still had a few words for the haters.

“(I know) everyone on my last pic wants me to ‘act my age’ but quite frankly its my instagram and if I choose to post that picture and you don’t like it… scroll past it,” she wrote in her Instagram story, according to E! News and People.

She added another photo to her story the following day, which included a quote: “If we could spread love as quickly as we spread hate and negativity, what an amazing world we would live in.”
