Milledgeville man involved in SUV crash

May 21—A 33-year-old Milledgeville man may have hit a puddle of standing water that caused him to lose control and flip his SUV on Kings Road Sunday afternoon, local authorities say.

Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Deputy Cecilio Reyes identified the man as Chadwick Tyler Rogers.

The wreck occurred shortly before 2 p.m.

Reyes said Rogers was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer northbound at the time.

"The driver lost control of the vehicle after the vehicle encountered water standing in the roadway," Reyes said in his report.

The SUV then left the roadway, entered a ditch and overturned several times, the deputy said.

There was no mention about whether or not the driver was injured in the report.
