Soggy Saturday followed by a windy Sunday

EVENING: Cloudy and mild. Temps in the 50s.

TONIGHT: Cloudy and mild with showers developing near sunrise. Low 40.

SATURDAY: Morning showers followed by steady rain for the afternoon and evening. High 50.

We had about a day and a half of dry weather to end the week with temperatures warming well above the average for early March. Now we need to prepare for another round of rain for the first half of the weekend.

Showers develop Saturday morning with a steady rain for the afternoon and evening. Many areas will receive near an inch of rain Saturday into Saturday night. As this system exits, a northwest wind develops for Sunday. This wind will help to dry out the Midstate, but makes it tough to enjoy the day outdoors with wind speeds between 10-20mph.

Monday features more sunshine but we remain blustery. Calmer winds and milder air starts Tuesday and lasts through much of the week. Make plans to enjoy a 4 day stretch of dry and unseasonably mild air for much of next week!
