Mike Tyson insists Tyson Fury’s “resurrection” in the first fight against Deontay Wilder changed both fighters’ fate forever.
The legendary former world heavyweight champion is the star for the promo for the rematch.
Reiterating his iconic phrase: “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
Fury and Wilder meet again next Saturday night in Las Vegas for the WBC title.
And Tyson perfectly summarised the journey to this point based on Wilder’s 12th round knockdown from 2018: “Fury’s resurrection changed the fate of two fighters forever.”
Fury has spoken more about his struggles with depression and mental health, admitting he felt “absolutely suicidal” every Sunday.
The 31-year-old claims he would be dead within a year if he quit boxing, while his father has claimed his son first began experiencing trouble with his mental health aged just 10.
The main intrigue surrounding the rematch is whether the Alabaman can finish Fury this time after dropping him twice in the first fight.
