‘The Mick’ Sneak Peek: Sabrina, Chip Reveal How They Celebrated Their Birthdays
Will Ben (Jack Stanton) enjoy his seventh birthday party?
In a sneak peek from tonight’s special episode of “The Mick,” Mickey (Kaitlin Olson) alerts Sabrina (Sofia Black D’Elia), Chip (Thomas Barbusca), Alba (Carla Jimenez) and Jimmy (Scott MacArthur) that they have all forgotten Ben’s birthday. When Mickey expresses her disappointment to Sabrina and Mick for forgetting their little brother’s birthday, the older Pemberton children blame their aunt for it.
“We never forgot Little Ben’s birthday until you showed up,” Chip tells Mickey.
“Yeah, you’re the one who’s always babbling on about how you’re the boss,” Sabrina adds.
When Mickey replies that she’s indeed the boss, Sabrina says: “Then act like one.”
Mickey ultimately agrees to organize Ben’s birthday party, and to get an idea about what she’ll do, she asks Sabrina and Chip how they celebrated their birthdays when they were Ben’s age.
“I flew 15 of my closest friends to Paris for Fashion Week,” Sabrina reveals.
“I took batting practice at Yankee Stadium,” Chip says.
While those birthday celebrations are definitely over-the-top, Mickey doesn’t seem bothered by them. See her reaction to the siblings’ seventh birthday celebrations in the video below:
In a recent interview with Maxim, Olson revealed how Mickey finds out about Ben’s birthday and teased how his party goes.
“I take Ben, the little one, to the doctor, and I find out at the doctor's office that we have missed his birthday,” Olson told the magazine of the upcoming episode. “So we attempt to throw him a birthday party, and terrible things happen. It really goes awry and completely turns upside down. I can’t say what happens, but it involves blood and drugs and stuff like that.”
The preview clip for the episode reveals that Mickey brings a junkie clown to the party, much to Sabrina’s dismay. Despite all the disasters, it remains to be seen whether Ben will have a great time at his party.
“The Mick” episode 4, titled “The Balloon,” airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST on FOX. Watch the preview clip for the episode below:
