Who says old dudes can’t play football? A 37-year-old Michael Vick threw for 547 yards and eight touchdowns on Tuesday. Sure, it was flag football, but come on, that’s just semantics.

Vick, along with fellow former icons Terrell Owens and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, participated in the inaugural game of the American Flag Football League, a new startup league looking to begin play for real in 2018.

Here’s a recap of the game:

Yeah, sure, it’s flag football, but you can’t deny it’s pretty cool seeing some familiar names get a bit of run. And, because you can never get enough Ocho/T.O. trash talk, here they are going at it:

Vick’s team won 64-41, so this wasn’t exactly a defensive struggle. The market for flag football would seem to be rather limited, but hey, if Big3 basketball can bring back some names of yore, perhaps the AFFL can too.
