New Mexico State University provost retires
LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State University is looking for another high-ranking administrator. In a letter to the NMSU community, Provost Alan Shoho says he had decided to retire at the end of the semester but instead left his position. He had been in that role since last April.

His departure comes as the school continues its search for a new president. The Board of Regents restarted that process earlier his month saying the five finalists up for the job did not “meet the needs of New Mexico State University at this critical juncture.”
