New Mexico History Museum collecting community objects for Zozobra exhibition

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) –  New Mexico History Museum (NMHM) in Santa Fe is asking the public to get involved with a new community exhibition about 100 years of Zozobra.

The museum and the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe want to see the community’s favorite memories of Zozobra, also known as “Old Man Gloom.” Community members can bring materials like vintage merch, family movies or other memorabilia directly to NMHM on Lincoln Street to have them examined and photographed on-site. Objects that are chosen for the exhibition will be on loan to NMHM for the duration of the exhibition.
