New Mexico CASA Association advocating for children
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico CASA Association is a nonprofit organization that develops and supports local programs throughout the state that provide volunteer advocacy in court for children who are abused and neglected.

Volunteers with the program are empowered by the courts to provide children with advocacy. No specific education or experience is required to volunteer. Interested volunteers must be at least 21-years-old and be able to pass reference, child protective service, sex offender and criminal background checks to become a volunteer advocate.
