Metz recognized by Reuters

Mar. 19—Roxanna Metz, Greensburg native and lead of Honda's Indiana Auto Plant (IAP), was recently named to Reuters' "Top 20 Trailblazing Women in Automotive" list for 2024.

"It's an honor to be recognized among so many talented women in the automotive industry," Metz said. "I'm very fortunate to be able to work every day with such an innovative team. Everyone is always ready to give their best, and that really inspires me to embrace my own challenging spirit and passion for the job."

Metz's journey within Honda, starting as a parts quality engineer in 2008 to her current role as the plant lead, is a testament to her dedication.

Today, Metz oversees 2,700 employees and the production of Honda models like the Civic Hatchback and CR-V.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Metz is active in the community, serving on the boards of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Corporation of Greensburg/Decatur County.
