Metrobus, car crash in Northeast DC; 8 hurt

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — One person was trapped and multiple people were hurt after a car and Metrobus collided Friday night.

DC Fire and EMS said it happened at North Capitol and L streets in Northeast D.C.

Medics assessed eight people. They took three of those people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One person was trapped, according to DC Fire and EMS.

DC Fire and EMS said the bus also hit a tree.
