Mesa County Sheriff’s Office investigating Palisade death
PALISADE, Colo. (KREX) — The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death reported in Palisade on Saturday.
On March 23, officials with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office and East Orchard Mesa Fire Department responded to the area of D and Upland roads in Palisade after a passing cyclist reported seeing an unconscious person. When deputies arrived, they discovered the person to be a deceased male.
An investigation is currently underway and there’s no further information available at this time.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Office is responsible for identifying the person and determining the cause and manner of death, as well as releasing the person’s identity once the investigation is complete and the next of kin is notified.
