Merry Makers Market takes place Sunday

Dec. 8—HIGH POINT — If you're still looking for Christmas gift ideas, the High Point Arts Council might be able to help.

The arts council's Merry Makers Market, a European-inspired holiday market featuring more than 25 local artists and makers from across the Triad, will be held Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m., at Centennial Station Arts Center, 121 S. Centennial St.

Items being offered include homemade candles, soaps, jewelry and more. A cash bar will be available with gluhwein (hot mulled wine), hot cider, holiday food and drink specials.

There will also be a raffle featuring donated items from various participating businesses, as well as a chance to win a $600 private wine-tasting from Total Wine & More.
