Fayette County Labor Union Official sentenced for embezzlement

This was a violent sexual offense, so we all thought the maximum penalties was the appropriate sentence and are thankful that the Judge agreed. Our Sheriff’s Department really did an incredible job gathering all of the evidence in this case. This is a brave young lady who stood up for herself after a horrific crime was committed against her and there is no doubt in my mind that she’s going to do great things in her life.”

Brian K. Cochran | Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney

According to Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney Brian K. Cochran, Redden will need to serve the sentences consecutively, as well as register for life as a sex offender. Redden will also have to serve 15 years of parole in the event he is released from prison.
