Mercer County man receives maximum penalty for sex crime against a minor

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — A Princeton man received the maximum penalty for a sex crime against a minor.

56-year-old Martin Robert Richey, of Princeton, was sentenced to the maximum penalty of 10 to 20 years in prison for sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian.

Richey will need to serve 10 years of parole in the event he is released from prison, and must also register as a rex offender for the rest of his life.
