Men of the people Donald Trump and Nigel Farage pose in golden elevator
In general, populist politicians avoid taking pictures in rooms made of gold.
But President-elect Donald Trump and Brexit leader Nigel Farage are not your average politicians.

It was a great honour to spend time with @realDonaldTrump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I'm confident he will be a good President. pic.twitter.com/kx8cGRHYPQ

Farage wasn't caught by paparazzi in the illustrious golden elevator, but instead wilfully published the photo on his Twitter account.
Farage is the interim leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), which ran a campaign in favor of the UK leaving the European Union, also known as Brexit.
The hoi polloi on Twitter couldn't help but contrast the two politicians' populist messages with their flashy surroundings.

While the internet has tried to turn the picture into a meme, it hasn't quite taken off like Vice President Joe Biden planning hilarious White House pranks.
Keep trying, Donald.
Farage: Yeah our meme will be as successful as the Biden/Obama meme, don't you think?
