Memorial service for daughter of longtime WBT radio host

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Janey Thompson’s memorial is on Saturday following her tragic passing due to complications from a blood clot on Tuesday.

She’s the daughter of WBT radio host Bo Thompson.

According to Charlotte station WBT, Janey, 20, was a sophomore at Wake Forest University where she was majoring in biophysics and went to Myers Park High School, graduating in 2022.
