Melania Trump had a heartfelt message for moms on Mother's Day, celebrated every second Sunday in May in America.

In her message, the former first lady encouraged mothers to prioritize self-care in the face of challenges that arise from being a mom.

She also pointed out that although some sacrifices they make usually go "unnoticed," mothers shouldn't relent, as when moms are "healthy, our communities are too."

The mother-of-one took to her official X (formerly Twitter) handle yesterday to share a heartwarming message with mothers alike, pressing on the need to be "mindful of ourselves" despite catering to their families and children.

Melania described mothers as the "cornerstone of every flourishing society" and the "bedrock of every American family," adding that she took "great pride" in "embracing" the responsibility that comes with it.

She further shared that although nothing makes her "prouder" than the relationship she has built with her son, Barron, mothers usually realize that "some of our efforts remain unnoticed."

"When moms are healthy, our communities are too," she added. "As mothers, we are inclined to honor our mothers and mother figures on Mother's Day, but we must also be mindful of ourselves. It may be difficult to imagine, but when moms prioritize self-care, our families and children enjoy greater stability."

Melania Trump's Former Aide Slams Her Mother's Day Message

Melania's former aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, took issues with her Mother's Day message, slamming her for seemingly being a hypocrite.

"Betrayal between mothers is especially deep when one chooses lies over truth, showing a disregard not just for honesty, but for the bond that did unite them," Wolkoff responded to the former first lady's Mother's Day Message. "Have you @MELANIATRUMP ever considered or cared how your actions & false accusations against ME impacted MY children?"

Wolkoff worked as a former senior advisor to Melania after Trump's 2016 presidential win. The pair fell out in February 2018 after it was reported that Wolkoff's event planning company, WIS Media Partners, received $26 million to help coordinate Trump's inauguration.

In her book "Melania And Me," Wolkoff claimed she resigned from the role because the Trump administration used her as a scapegoat.

"Melania and Donald Trump weaponized the DOJ against me by having Jeffrey Clark sue me to try and silence me so the truth and the facts about this, them, and so much more wouldn't be shared with the American people," Wolkoff previously told Newsweek.

Several fans also took to the comment section of Melania's post to celebrate with her on the special occasion.

"Happy Mother's Day Melania! Keep up the amazing work you are doing," one user said.

Another user wrote, "Happy Mother's Day, Melania. I will always support your work. Come on, God bless you."

Melania's only child, Barron, was on the verge of officially beginning his political career when he was selected to represent the state of Florida at the upcoming Republican National Convention.

However, according to the DailyMail, reports from Melania's office revealed that the 18-year-old had "declined" the delegate role because of "prior commitments."

A spokeswoman for the former first lady said in a statement: "While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments."

Melania is reportedly set to give her son a break from her overprotective grip as he preps for college.

Barron, who recently turned 18 and is set to graduate high school on Friday, has been out of the spotlight thanks to Melania, who reportedly keeps details about him close to her chest.

Reports suggest Barron is an ardent supporter of his father's 2024 reelection bid and is keen to create his platform and publicly share what he stands for, something Melania had been against.

A source close to the family has now shared that she is ready to give him more space and let him do his thing but will continue to keep a close watch over him.

"While he was still a minor, she zealously protected him, and we knew very little about the details of his daily life," the source told the Daily Mail.

"I think he's allowed to make more decisions for himself now. He can invite anyone to dinner he wishes. He's slowly becoming more public."
