Melania Trump rang in the New Year at Mar-a-Lago, her husband’s Palm Beach, Florida escape, in an embellished midi-dress with fluttering sleeves by Erdem. The sequined number contrasted with the Dolce & Gabbana LBD the First Lady wore last year, which featured brooch-accented bows. The dress’s intricate floral embroideries added sparkle, and Trump coordinated the piece with Louboutin stilettos in bubblegum pink.

Yesterday, Trump returned to the White House in what has become her go-to travel ensemble: a tailored coat, skinny pant, and an Hermès Birkin bag. Trump topped the look off with a tan Bottega Veneta peacoat that was similar to the coatdress she wore from the Italian house for this year’s White House Halloween festivities. Underneath, Trump wore oxblood from head to toe with Helmut Lang’s leather trousers and her signature heels.
