Meghan McCain thinks Trump aide who made ‘dying’ comment about her father shouldn’t have a job

On Thursday, White House aide Kelly Sadler made a tone-deaf comment in response to Senator John McCain’s opposition to potential CIA director Gina Haspel. In a meeting, and knowing that McCain has brain cancer, she quipped “he’s dying anyways.” This morning on "The View," Meghan McCain diplomatically responded, first asking the audience not to feel bad for her or her family. In an interesting turn, Megan McCain even embraced Sadler’s mean-spirited comment with a philosophical view, saying that "we're all dying" and that her dad's diagnosis made her understand "the meaning of life." However, she did criticize Sadler and the character of the Trump White house, saying, "I don’t understand what kind of environment you're working in when that would be acceptable, and then you can come to work the next day and still have a job."
