It’s a busy day for the Royal Family. Just hours after the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her second son, Prince Harry and his fiancée, Meghan Markle, have stepped out.

Clad in sombre attire, the couple are attending a memorial service in London to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the murder of Stephen Lawrence and to celebrate his life and legacy.

Lawrence was an 18-year-old black man killed in a racially-charged shooting 25 years ago. Prince Harry is set to do a reading during the service.

For the occasion, Meghan wore a chic, Hugo Boss dress from the label’s spring 2018 resort collection. Unfortunately for fans, the dress isn’t available to shop online.

But the 36-year-old’s choice of dress hasn’t gone down well with everyone.

The Daily Mail‘s royal correspondent, Rebecca English, took to Twitter to question whether or not Meghan’s dress was appropriate for a memorial service.

And her fans seem to agree.

“I’m not sure about the bare skin! For a memorial service, I think that the dress needs a jacket …. but maybe that’s just me,” commented one Twitter user.

“Remember when Michelle Obama did the same and people lost their minds?” added another person.

It’s not the first time Meghan’s sleeveless dresses have raised eyebrows.

The royal-to-be was subjected to online abuse after wearing a sleeveless summer dress to a function during Britain’s heatwave last week.

Arriving at the Commonwealth Youth Forum wearing an strappy Altuzarra pinstripe midi dress with a Camilla and Marc blazer, Tamara Mellon heels and a cross-body bag by Australian label, Oroton, the bride-to-be looked incredibly chic.

Taking her blazer off inside, Meghan revealed her bare shoulders – a rarity in the royal family – which has been met with huge backlash from royal family supporters.
