It's safe to say the world is absolutely obsessed with Meghan Markle. The former Suits actress is engaged to Prince Harry, and as a result she's been thrust into the international spotlight. People can't get enough of her. The simplest things she says become headline news. Fashion brands she's associated with sell out of products in minutes. Even the queen's notoriously standoffish corgis are enthralled with her.
And the infatuation with the soon-to-be (literal) duchess continues. A reporter from the Daily Mail, Rebecca English, tweeted on Thursday (December 14) that Markle made a surprise appearance at the queen's staff Christmas party at Windsor Castle on Monday, December 11, and people flipped in the best way possible.
"One person who met her told me that she was 'charm personified,'" English tweeted. "She held out her hand & said 'Hi, I'm Meghan.' She was unbelievably beautiful, and Harry looked so proud."
English continued, "It was definitely a surprise to all those attended. And those that did meet her were absolutely blown away by her elegance and confidence. She's gone down well with the staff, that's for certain."

Unfortunately, there aren't any photos from this event available. Markle was reportedly in Los Angeles last week, so her appearance at Windsor Castle on Monday is surprising. English also tweeted that Prince Harry seemed "keen" on introducing Markle to everyone, which is understandable. They are getting married in just a few short months, after all.
So it looks like we'll just have to imagine how Markle was at this party. Here's hoping she spent 70 percent of her time playing with the Queen's corgis. That's certainly what I would do.
