The 'Meghan Effect' is not showing any signs of slowing down, as the Duchess of Sussex has inspired fellow royals to cast the regal rule book aside in the name of fashion.

Princess Sofia of Sweden attended the 2018 Polar Music Prize Award ceremony earlier this week in a halterneck dress which bared a striking resemblance to Meghan's second wedding gown.

Boasting a similar neckline and ankle-skimming length, the royal even accessorised the emerald-hued number with a similar hairstyle (tendrils and all).

Though it's hardly surprising that the Duchess' newfound royal wardrobe has gone global, as the Stella McCartney dress she donned for her wedding reception stole the nation's hearts on May 19.

Within a matter of days, search for similar styles increased as brides-to-be flocked to emulate Meghan.

Thankfully, McCartney designed a collection of 46 identical dresses aptly named 'Made With Love'. Available to shop from the label's Old Bond Street store, the £3,500 gowns are available in lily-white and onyx-black.

Earlier this week, the British designer spoke out about designing the Duchess' dress for the first time.

"You know it was very much her dress," McCartney told the BBC. "And I felt very proud that she came to me for that part of the wedding, and that she got to reflect her in it."

"The role that she's taken on is very austere, it's very serious and I think there's a great weight that she has acquired through that and she takes it very seriously. It was the last moment that she could reflect sort of the other side to her... the joy and the human within her."
