Meghan Markle is getting a taste of life as a British commoner.

The American actress and Prince Harry experienced a train delay at London's Paddington Station that caused them to be late for their third public engagement in the city of Cardiff as a couple. The two have made a commitment to explore the U.K. before their May wedding to give Meghan a chance to get to know Britain and its people.

Meghan donned head-to-toe black for the occasion, opting for a Stella McCartney coat with a silk ribbon sash that tied around her waist, Hiut Denim trousers and velvet booties.

As for her hair, Meghan donned a similar chignon bun that she wore during her first public engagement of 2018. Some called the hairstyle "relatable" while others called it "too messy" during her appearance a little over a week ago. Her 'do of choice is a stark contrast to Duchess Kate's hairstyle, who is rarely seen without her usual blown out style.

Prince Harry, on the other hand, mirrored his fiancée's look in a coordinating blue outfit -- a wool jacket, trousers and a sweater over a white button-down shirt.

Despite their late arrival, a huge crowd greeted Meghan and Harry, including a group of schoolchildren who waited in the cold for hours to meet the couple. The two began their visit at the historic Cardiff Castle, one of the country's most beloved historical sites.
