Meghan Markle Attends Queen's Staff Party
After laying low post-engagement and traveling home to the United States without Harry last week, Meghan Markle is reportedly back in the United Kingdom - and she's already making the rounds at royal family events.
According to Hello! Magazine, Meghan recently made a surprise appearance alongside Prince Harry at a Christmas party the Queen threw for her staff. "Harry and Meghan spent about an hour at the party and they were really friendly and went around talking to everyone," a source revealed to the magazine. "Meghan was very sweet and so beautiful."
The party was held at Windsor Castle on Monday, and Meghan reportedly wore a "festive red dress." Meghan had the chance to mingle with the Queen's employees, some of whom will be helping the royal couple plan their May 2018 wedding, Marie Claire reports.
The news was also confirmed in a series of Tweets by Rebecca English, the royal reporter for the Daily Mail. English's source revealed that one person who met Meghan said she was "charm personified."

Yes it was definitely a surprise to all those attended. And those that did meet her were absolutely blown away by her elegance and confidence. She's gone down well with the staff, that's for certain!

Yes, although I don't think I it was a gesture per se. I get the impression that Harry was keen to introduce her. I can imagine it will also help her get used to the 'Royal' way of doing things...

Well the impression that the people I have spoken to had was that she was really taking it in her stride. Very down-to-earth and personable....

Harry and Meghan have a busy few weeks ahead of them. Just yesterday, it was confirmed that Meghan will be joining Harry and the rest of the royals at Sandringham for Christmas, marking a change in protocol for the royals. The newly engaged couple are also likely busy planning their upcoming wedding, which will take place in May 2018.
