Kensington Palace announced this morning that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child, due in Spring 2019!

The news is SO exciting, especially as the pair have just landed in Oz for their first royal tour together as a married couple.

And one person who is especially looking forward to seeing the back of winter, so she can meet the little lady or lad already is Meghan Markle's mum, Doria Ragland.

Doria is 'very happy' about the news, according to a statement released by Kensington Palace today, and basically can't wait to meet her new grandchild. Awwww, same Doria, same!

A spokesperson for the Palace said: “Ms Doria Ragland is very happy about the lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”

According to the statement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first told their family the news at Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday when, let's face it, everyone was thinking that coat might have been hiding a bump.

It read: “The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted for the couple and were able to congratulate them on Friday at the wedding in person."

Isn't it all so lovely?
